AAM , the American manufacturer of axles , announced the appointment of David A. Culton as the new president of the Americas, responsible for AAM’s business in North America and South America.
Culton's previous position was president of AAM Europe. StevenJ.Proctor will replace Culton's position as President of the company's European region. Proctor's previous position was AAM’s President of Asia.
In addition, AAM also announced the appointment of John S. Sofia as project manager and vice president. Sofia previously served as the vice president of commercial vehicles for AAM.
AAM's founder, chairman and CEO, Richard E. Dauch said that the above appointments will help strengthen the company's management and achieve the company's development strategy.
