Belarus does not rule out further increase of potash fertilizer export tax
The person in charge of the Bureau of Taxation and Budget of the White Ministry of Finance recently stated that the Ministry of Finance of Belarus does not rule out the possibility of further increasing the export tariff of potash fertilizer.
The current potash export tariff is 50 Euros per ton. The White Government is considering increasing the current export tariff by 50% to 75 Euros/ton.
According to the person in charge, Belarus will ensure that all export tariffs for potash fertilizer remain in the budget revenue of Belarus during the negotiations on customs unions, and that other commodities do not have potash fertilizer so significant.
At present, the Customs Union is discussing the mechanism for the export tariff distribution, that is, a certain commodity export tariff will be placed in the budget revenue of the owner of the commodity, that is, the export tariff will not be split.
