Single screw pump is a kind of progressive cavity pump. The main pumping elements comprises of a single external helix rotor and a double internal helix stator. As the metallic rotor planet moves within the elastomer stator, the constant and continuous cavities are formed and progressed axially, and thus the fluid is steadily carried from the suction to the discharge end of the pump without turbulence, agitation or pulsation.
