Hash introduces the DR 900 handheld colorimeter

Hach developed a multi-parameter hand-held instrument for water quality testing - the DR900 handheld colorimeter. The DR900 allows quick and easy access to your most common test methods and is suitable for a variety of field environments.

"The DR900 has been very successful on the basis of the DR/800 series handheld colorimeters," said Tom Siller, product manager for handheld instruments at Hach Worldwide. “By improving the user interface and menu selection, operators can easily access the most standard water quality detection methods with less than 4 operations, which will save a lot of time in field testing.”

Save time is the biggest feature of DR900 colorimeter. It can provide 90 kinds of the most commonly used water testing methods, and put the user's favorite method on the interface. By improving the user interface and method choices, ease of testing becomes the standard requirement for the instrument.

The DR900 can be used in harsh and challenging environments. Its rugged construction and its waterproof, dustproof, shockproof and drop tests ensure reliability under all conditions. The instrument has a backlit display option that can be used in low light locations. The DR900 can store up to 500 test data and is equipped with a USB port to facilitate data transfer to a PC or laptop after a day in the field.
