National Petroleum and Chemical Industry Worker Model Selection Work Deployment Meeting Held in Beijing
On the 2nd, the National Petroleum and Chemical Industry Labor Model Selection Work Deployment Meeting was held in Beijing. The industry will select 100 advanced collectives, 300 model workers and 300 advanced workers.
Li Yongwu, chairman of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and leader of the National Petroleum and Chemical Industry Labor Model Awarding and Commendation Award, emphasized at the meeting that the selection work was a major event in promoting the new development of the petroleum and chemical industry. All localities must focus on three key areas in the selection process: First, we must adhere to the combination of fine traditions and the characteristics of the times; second, we must adhere to the selection criteria and select the best; third, strictly abide by the provisions of the proportion. Among them, the proportion of advanced collective selection, workshop, team not less than 60%; advanced individual selection ratio, frontline staff representatives of not less than 70%, the company responsible person does not exceed 10%. Departments and individuals at or above the deputy director bureau level (inclusive) are not the object of selection; the proportion of departmental officers is controlled within 20%.
Zhang Yan, Inspector of the Department of Appraisal and Incentives of the National Civil Service Bureau of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, explained the “Circular on Selection of Advanced Collectives, Model Workers and Advanced Workers in the Petroleum and Chemical Industry of the Country†at the meeting.
It is understood that in 2012, the selection and commendation of the advanced collectives, labor models, and advanced workers in the national oil and chemical industry were divided into four phases: initiation, evaluation, public approval, and commendation. In December, the awarding ceremony was held.
