First, stand-alone test: Turn on the power switch, and insert the two ends of the twisted pair into the M and L sockets of the unit respectively. The tester LCD screen displays TEST(ING) and the test is performed automatically.
When the LCD screen number does not jump, the displayed result is the cable connection.

Second, the use of dual-use methods: Use two identical machines, press the "MODE" button for more than 2 seconds, set one of the "S (LSVE)", the other for "M (ASTER)" can be tested . Plug both ends of the cable into the port labeled "M" on the machine (this method is suitable for remote testing). After the machine automatically tests and locates, the test results will be displayed on the respective LCD screens. The definition of each screen is as follows: The previous line number is the end of M itself, and the lower line number is the other end of S.

Third, the LCD screen status explanation:
1.MISWIRE: Wrong wiring; wrong cable connection, all displayed when open circuit is short-circuited.
2.OPEN: open circuit; open cable, and no display under the corresponding cable number.
3. SHORT: Short-circuit; there is a short-circuit of the cable, and the corresponding cable number jumps, no display below.
4.RESEVED: cross-pair, with cable 1 & 2, 3 & 6, 4 & 5, 7 & 8 any one of the counter-time display.
5.UTP: Unshielded cable, 0 no display.
6.FTP: There is a shielded cable and 0 is displayed.

Fourth, warning!
This tester is prohibited to test network cables and telephone lines with voltage, otherwise it will seriously burn out the machine.
This tester uses a AAA battery. If the LCD screen is dark, replace the battery.
RJ45 copper clips cannot be tested when not fully pressed. Otherwise it will permanently damage the port!
No RJ11 port is specified, and the test telephone connection (RJ11) is prohibited. Otherwise it will cause permanent damage to the machine!
This product has an LCD screen that cannot be thrown and thrown to avoid damage to the LCD screen.
