A spokesperson for the US Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration said that the agency will announce the results of the countervailing final ruling on June 12, which is also the final date for anti-dumping.
The spokesperson said that the US Department of Commerce made the decision at the request of the stakeholders.
In June 2014, the US Steel Workers' Federation (USW) applied to the US International Trade Commission (ITC) for countervailing and anti-dumping investigations on passenger cars and light truck tires imported from China.
The International Trade Administration of the US Department of Commerce made countervailing and anti-dumping preliminary results on November 24, 2014 and January 21, 2015, respectively.
Although both tax rates were revised again, the results of the first announcement were lowered. However, if the US Department of Commerce determines that there are subsidies and dumping of Chinese tires on June 12, the case will be transferred to the US International Trade Commission. It made the final decision.
