What are the installation methods of liquid flowmeter?

1. The instrument installation adopts flange connection, screw connection and clip type;

2. The direction of liquid flow during installation shall be consistent with the direction of the arrow indicating the direction of flow on the sensor housing, and the upstream straight pipe section shall be ≥20dn, and the downstream straight pipe section shall be ≥5dn, where dn is the pipe inner diameter.

3, the sensor should be away from the external magnetic field, if you can not avoid, should take the necessary measures;

4, in order to repair and not affect the normal delivery of liquid, should be installed in the bypass pipe at both ends of the straight pipe;

5, when the sensor is installed in the open air, please do waterproof treatment of the amplifier plug;

6. The connection between the sensor and the display instrument should be based on the power supply of the amplifier to select the connection method. For details, see the "Instructions for use".

7, the liquid flow sensor can be installed horizontally, vertically, when the vertical direction of the fluid must be up. The liquid should be filled with pipes and there should be no bubbles. When installed, the direction of liquid flow should be consistent with the direction of the arrow on the sensor housing indicating the direction of flow. The upstream end of the sensor should have at least 20 times the straight length of the nominal diameter, and the downstream end should be no less than 5 times the straight diameter of the nominal diameter. The inner wall of the sensor should be smooth and clean with no dents, fouling, and peeling defects.

8. If the fluid is unstable with pulsating flow, a buffer may be installed to ensure good measurement of the rotameter to eliminate pulsatile flow. When the rotameter is in use, slowly open the control valve on the upstream pipeline of the flowmeter, and then use the regulating valve to adjust the flow so as not to suddenly open the float and cause the float to rise sharply to damage the conical tube.
