1. The generator set shell must have a reliable protective grounding. For a generator that needs a neutral point to be directly grounded, the neutral grounding must be done by a professional, and the lightning protection device must be configured. It is forbidden to use the grounding device of the mains for neutrality. The point is directly grounded. The two-way switch with the mains must be very reliable to prevent backward power transmission. The wiring reliability of the bidirectional switch must be verified by the local power supply department.
2. The diesel generator set should be well ventilated, the generator end should have sufficient air inlet, and the diesel engine end should have a good air outlet. The outlet area should be more than 1.5 times the area of ​​the tank. Older diesel generator sets need to be based on concrete. During installation, horizontal levels should be used to measure the horizontality so that the units can be fixed on a horizontal basis. There should be a special shockproof pad or foot bolt between the unit and the foundation. Modern diesel generators do not need concrete as a foundation, because the modern diesel power generation group has been improved, the entire unit ground is flat, and all are equipped with shock absorbers, very convenient.
3. For indoor use, the exhaust pipe must be conducted outdoors. The pipe diameter must be the diameter of the exhaust pipe of the muffler. The number of elbows connected to the pipe should not exceed 3, in order to ensure the smoothness of the exhaust, and the pipe should be Inclining down 5-10 degrees to avoid rainwater injection; if the exhaust pipe is installed vertically upwards, you must install rain cover.
