The new unmanned FLNG concept overcomes many of the industry's current difficulties and supports the development of future offshore oil and gas fields. The project incorporates modern technological advances that not only reduce annual operating expenses by approximately 20% , but also improve overall safety.
The biggest feature of this project is that all the equipment on the FLNG is modular and can be done by onshore monitoring, a large number of routine maintenance work and troubleshooting using an automatically programmed automated inspection and maintenance device ( robot ) . There is a track system on the platform that can be used by different carriers to deliver the robot to all equipment. The wireless sensor network can act as an eye, ear, nose, etc., and feed information back to the condition monitoring system to monitor fault detection, active maintenance, and maintenance schedules.
During normal operations, no one is required to live or work on the platform, thus completely eliminating the associated personal safety risks. When large-scale maintenance activities are required, the platform will build a safe enough working environment. The new FLNG platform supports the ship and life boat concept and the associated berthing system to further enhance the safety of personnel operations.
In addition, this research leverages existing advanced technologies to provide energy. In the past, gas turbines that required high maintenance rates were now powered, and now switching to fuel cells not only increases the reliability of energy production, but also reduces the environmental impact.
An excavator ripper is an attachment that is used with an excavator to break up hard materials such as rock, concrete, and asphalt. It is a heavy-duty tool that is designed to penetrate the earth's surface and rip through the toughest of materials. The ripper is typically made up of a large metal claw that is attached to the end of the excavator's arm. The claw is then used to dig into the ground and break up the material, making it easier to remove and transport. Excavator rippers are commonly used in construction, demolition, and mining operations.
