Since last year, Gwangyang Bearing Group has closely focused on the needs of bearing users, aimed at the high-end of international bearing technology, strengthened the construction of technical teams, and strived to improve product innovation. In 2007, more than 600 new products were developed and produced, an increase of 29% over the previous year. In the first quarter, it designed and developed nearly 60 kinds of products. The new products developed and produced are all products with independent intellectual property rights. Recently, the four patents granted by the State Intellectual Property Office to the Gwangyang Group are only part of the patent application.

The patented four-row cylindrical roller bearing is mainly used in rolling mills, metallurgical and other industries. Through independent invention, the current domestic large-scale rolling mill bearings generally adopt comb-type cages or rivet cages, resulting in high manufacturing and procurement costs; the ferrules and rolling elements are made of GCr15SiMn material, which has short rated life and is easily damaged in actual operating conditions. The use of foreign sales cages, ferrules, rolling elements are carburized steel, the material cost is higher, not suitable for China's national conditions and other drawbacks. The beneficial effects of the bearing are: reduced cost, improved bearing life and high practicability.
