Japan's superhard tool production stabilized

According to statistics released by the Japan Superhard Tools Association, the output value of Japan’s superhard tools reached 15.827 billion yen in April, although it was 13.9% lower than the same period of last year, compared with the previous month, superhard tools since February. The production has maintained its growth momentum for three consecutive months.
In terms of production types, the output value of cutting tools reached 10.761 billion yen, a decrease of 15.6% from the same period of last year; wear-resistant tools were 3.158 billion yen, a decrease of 9.1% year-on-year; and sintered tools were 954 million yen, a year-on-year decrease of 5.9. %; Mine earth tools were 528 million yen, a decrease of 12.6%.
