Several projects were resumed: Thai MMA company doubled MMA capacity to 180,000 tons/year, Thai MMA Corporation was a joint venture between Mitsubishi Rayon Co. and Thai Siam Cement Company; Siam Polyethylene's capacity expansion project, Siam Polyethylene Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Dow Chemical and Siam Cement Group (SCG); Siam Synthetic Latex Plant's polyethylene plant renovation project is another joint venture between Dow Chemical and SCG; Polyethylene compound expansion project of Thai Polyethylene Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of SCG; expansion of petrochemical products, raw materials, and port facilities of the company's Mataburg Storage and Transportation Terminal Company; transformation of Phenol's phenol plant and construction of new bisphenol A. project.
