First, the power supply of the display is reversed

For normal ledp4 display products, the power supply terminal position will have the VCC and GND marks, or the "+" and "-" marks, which represent the wiring positions of the positive and negative terminals, respectively. However, based on the lack of basic knowledge of electrical and electronic equipment, it is very likely that the positive and negative poles of the power supply will be reversed, even if the qualified technician has the possibility of operating errors. Reversing the positive and negative poles of the power supply will cause most of the constant voltage driving chips on the module to be seriously damaged or even burned.

Second, the module is abnormal and the line is always bright.

It is very common for the ledp4 display to show a line of dark lines and highlights. Most of them are caused by abnormal connection of the cable or error in debugging parameters. In general, a well-designed ledp4 display product will better avoid the protection circuit that is always bright and bright. After the line height is abnormally over-bright, if it is not eliminated in time, the row driver chip of the module will burn and destroy due to continuous high current operation and sharp rise in temperature. Of course, if compared with the previous cases, the current industry's ledp4 display module, the line driver chip's on-board power consumption will be relatively low, and the maximum operating current of most row driver chips will not exceed 4A. The possibility of the module driving the chip to smoke and burn out due to the constant brightness of the module is relatively small.

Third, the power supply voltage of the ledp4 module is too large

Usually the rated working voltage of the ledp4 display module is 4V-6V. The maximum limit working voltage of the integrated chip on the module will not be higher than 8V under normal conditions, and the maximum reverse voltage of the ledp4 lamp is below 8V. Therefore, the supply voltage of 8V or more will definitely damage the integrated chip and the ledp4 lamp. When the voltage reaches more than 8V, the conventional constant voltage driving chip will start to heat rapidly and is very likely to burn. Under normal circumstances, when the voltage exceeds 10-11V, it will continue to be energized for about 2 seconds, and the chip will burn to different degrees. Since the ledp4 display output voltage is 5V constant voltage switching power supply, the possibility of overvoltage is not great. Even if the control circuit of the switching power supply fails, the possibility that the output voltage is abnormal and reaches 9V or more is negligible. Therefore, in the process of actual application, the cause of the chip burning and burning is more or less positive or negative, followed by the module abnormality, and the voltage is too large.

For the outdoor led display, it is used outdoors. Therefore, it is inevitable to treat it differently from ordinary indoor LED display. LED electronic display installation requirements are also different from ordinary indoor LEDs. It must be done in detail on the installation. Otherwise it is very likely to cause trouble.

1. Install lightning protection devices on the display and buildings.

The main body and the outer casing of the display are well grounded, the grounding resistance is less than 3 ohms, and the large current caused by lightning is discharged in time; the display may be attacked by strong electric current caused by lightning.

2. LED display itself waterproof measures

The screen body and the joint between the screen body and the building must be strictly waterproof and leakproof; the screen body should have good drainage measures, and the water can be discharged smoothly once the water accumulation occurs; pay attention to waterproof and moisture. The display screen is installed outdoors, often exposed to the sun and rain, and the working environment is bad. If the electronic equipment is wet or seriously damp, it may cause a short circuit or even a fire, causing malfunction or even fire, resulting in loss;

3. Circuit chip selection

Industrial-grade integrated circuit chips with an operating temperature between -40 ° C and 80 ° C are selected to prevent the display from starting due to low temperature in winter.

4. Install the ventilation equipment to cool down, so that the internal temperature of the screen is between -10 °C and 40 °C.

The axial fan is installed on the back of the screen body to discharge heat; when the LED display is working, it must generate a certain amount of heat. 5. Must use ultra-high brightness LED
