A few days ago, the "Continuous Process for Preparing Polyether Polyol Process Technology" jointly developed by the Shanghai Petrochemical Research Institute and Takahashi Petrochemical passed the project appraisal of the headquarters.

At the appraisal meeting, the experts carefully listened to the research report, test report, expert evaluation report and user use report made by Takahashi Petrochemical and reviewed relevant technical data. Through questions, Q&A, and serious discussions, the experts agreed that the process technology is the first in China and reaches the international advanced level. The leaders of the group company hope to further expand the production capacity of the plant, accelerate the construction of a continuous process with a capacity of 50,000 tons/year, and report the process to the headquarters as soon as possible.

This technology adopts DMC catalyst and supporting continuous polymerization process, and does not require the recovery of residual monomers, which greatly simplifies the process flow, stabilizes product quality, and further improves product performance. Its technology has high production efficiency, low energy consumption, material consumption, and basically no emission of three wastes.
