Use of Calorimeter Additives

Calorimeter when using additives, in order to not affect the normal use of the calorimeter, operation, usually need to pay attention to the following questions:

Calorimeter use additives should pay attention to the problem:

1) The known calorific value of benzoic acid, standard coal, and mirror paper can all be used as additives.

2) The tested coal sample and additives should be mixed evenly to keep the sample uniform.

3) The sum of the weights of the tested coal samples and additives should be about 1 gram, and the total calorific value should not be lower than 18000J, nor should it be higher than 30000J.

4) Before the experiment, enter the calorific value (J/g) of the additive in the calorific value of the additive set in the system. When testing, enter the weight of the additive in the corresponding column. At the end of the test, the microcomputer calorimeter will automatically subtract the calorific value of the additive from the result.

Calorimeter barrel level is not enough:

Solution: (1) The drain valve leaks, clean or replace the drain valve to prevent plugging (2) The outer bucket is not pumped full of water. The outer bucket pump is full and cannot overflow.
